阿海是位具有破壞傳統框架敘事能力的臺灣導演。

他的創作短片與實驗片在世界各地的國際影展獲得了眾多的入圍與獎項。在某次專訪中他提到：「在處理最重要的畫面時，我喜歡用留白的方式來讓張力最大。」

除了創作之外，從 2016 年開始阿海設立了公司和夥伴們一起來服務市場。
